Ep 23 – How 10 Minutes a Day Can Transform Your Marketing

10-minute marketing for introverts

How Just 10 Minutes a Day Can Transform Your Marketing (Without Burnout)

Marketing as an introverted entrepreneur can feel like an exhausting, never-ending to-do list. You’ve probably heard the advice: ‘Post everywhere! Be visible all the time! Show up daily in stories, reels, and on every social media platform!’ And if you’ve ever tried to follow that advice, you likely ended up burnt out, frustrated, and questioning whether marketing is even worth it.

But here’s the truth: You don’t have to do it all.

In fact, just 10 minutes a day—done consistently—can create better results than sporadic bursts of intense marketing. Today, I’m going to walk you through how you can shift your marketing approach from overwhelming to sustainable, so you can actually enjoy showing up for your business.

The Problem with the ‘All or Nothing’ Approach

If you’ve ever started a big marketing plan—maybe from a free masterclass or a bundle you bought—you probably went all in for a few weeks. Then… you hit a wall. The plan felt impossible to keep up with. So, you stopped. And then the guilt set in.

Sound familiar? You’re not alone.

Marketing isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right things consistently. That’s why when I work with new clients, the first thing we do is get clear on their business foundations—who they serve, what they offer, and where their ideal clients actually spend time. This way, we’re not chasing every trend but instead focusing on marketing that truly works for them.

Why Consistency Beats Intensity Every Time

1. Repetition Builds Trust Think about any great relationship—it’s built over time, not with one big grand gesture. The same applies to marketing. Your audience needs to see you show up regularly to trust you. Not constantly—just consistently.

2. Small Wins Create Momentum Every small action you take makes the next one easier. Think about how babies learn to walk—they stumble, but they keep going. Marketing works the same way. You have to take small steps before you gain real traction.

3. Consistency Prevents Burnout Instead of draining yourself with unsustainable efforts, you’re creating a habit that fits into your life and energy levels. And let’s be honest: If marketing feels doable, you’re way more likely to stick with it.

The 10-Minute Marketing Habit

I know what you’re thinking: ‘Can I really make progress in just 10 minutes a day?’

Here’s what I don’t mean: spending 10 minutes randomly scrolling social media and calling it marketing. Here’s what I do mean: picking three core activities that directly connect you with your ideal clients and doing them weekly.

1. Engage Meaningfully with Three Ideal Clients (10 Minutes)

Spend time leaving thoughtful comments or sending genuine DMs to people in your target audience.

Example: If someone posts about struggling with content creation, you might comment: ‘I totally get how overwhelming content can be! A quick tip: Try batching your posts by theme to save time and energy.’

2. Share a Value-Packed Tip (10 Minutes)

Post one actionable tip that helps your audience solve a small problem.

Example: ‘Here’s a 3-step checklist for creating an irresistible Instagram bio.’

3. Highlight a Client Win or Personal Success (10 Minutes)

Share a story that demonstrates what’s possible when people work with you.

Example: ‘One of my clients went from feeling stuck to signing her first client in just 3 months, all because we refined her offer so she was actually excited to talk about it!’

Imagine Marketing Like Watering a Plant

If you pour a gallon of water on a plant once a month, it drowns. But if you give it a little water every day, it thrives. The same is true for your marketing. You don’t have to be everywhere all the time—just show up consistently in small, intentional ways.
